H is for Hawk
The story of a grieving writer who, after the sudden death of her father,
attempts to navigate her loss by training a goshawk, one of the most
untameable birds of prey.
Retreating from ordinary life, she immerses herself in the discipline of falconry,
finding in the hawk both a mirror for her grief and a means of survival.
As the bond between human and bird deepens, the process becomes
a journey through history, nature and memory, revealing how grief
can ultimately reconnect a person to the world.
