Much Ado About Falstaff
Saturday November 29that 7.30pm

A riotous night of laughter and mischief with Shakespeare’s biggest rogue - Falstaff!
From the team behind ‘Old Herbaceous’, ‘Three Men in a Boat’ and ‘What’s Wrong with Benny Hill?’ comes an unmissable new comedy that brings one of Shakespeare’s most beloved scoundrels to life like never before!
Sir John Falstaff - a rogue, a philanderer and a glutton - takes centre stage in Simon Downing’s hilarious new play. Audiences will be swept into the raucous world of the Boar’s Head Inn, where Falstaff (played by the brilliant Giles Shenton) is down on his luck and up to his old tricks. With the sharp-tongued Mistress Quickly (Georgie Taylor) keeping him in check and creditors at the door, will he finally clean up his act? Marry for money?
Or continue his merry mischief? This is an evening packed with riotous laughter, quick-witted banter, and more Shakespearean insults than you can shake a tankard at!
Audiences can expect a warm, joyous and unashamedly fun theatrical experience that will leave them grinning from ear to ear.
