  • Insulate the main hall

  • Redecorate the main hall including refurbishing the lovely wooden floor

  • Kitchen upgrade

Phase 2:

Phase 2:

By 2022 building costs were rising fast and estimates to replace the rear meeting room had already doubled in price causing concern about the completion of the overall project.   However, good news came from a third National Lottery Awards for All Grant. Together with other pledges and donations we were delighted to receive a grant of £75,000 from Biffa Award as part of the Government’s Landfill Communities Fund.

The number of grant applications made by the committee was now over 270 leading to grants/awards that almost covered the £243,900 cost of new meeting room, the final stage of the refurbishment project.
