HIRING OUR HALL

Burns_Night 50.jpg

You can hire our bright and airy hall for all sorts of events; children’s parties, meetings, or classes. We hope that this website will give you a good idea of our facilities but if you would like to see the hall before booking please ask Sharon Aust, the Bookings Secretary.

We have a large main hall with a stage, and can accommodate up to 80 people seated at tables and 120 in a more informal layout.

There is a smaller meeting room that can be hired separately.

The hall has a projector and sound system which are also available for hire.  We hold TheMusicLicense formally PPL PRS Ltd (Phonographic Performance Limited & Performing Rights Society) for playing and performing music on the premises.

We have a large kitchen off the main hall, well stocked with cookware, utensils, crockery, cutlery and glassware which are all included in hire costs. Tablecloths can be hired separately.

There is parking for 12 cars at the front of the hall. Out of school hours, we have access the school car park (located opposite the hall).

Our hall hire rates are very competitive and include tables and chairs, kitchen and dining equipment, heating, lighting and WiFi.

We would love to run more regular village activities so if you have an idea, or would like to use our hall, we will be very happy to hear from you.

CINDERELLA

In Disney’s live-action adaptation of Cinderella, Ella is a kind and spirited young woman whose idyllic life is shattered by the death of her parents.

Left in the care of her cruel stepmother and stepsisters, she’s reduced to a servant in her own home.

Despite the hardship, Ella remains true to her mother’s final words: “Have courage and be kind.”

Her fortunes change when she meets a charming stranger in the woods—who turns out to be the prince.

With the help of a magical fairy godmother, Ella attends the royal ball, sparking a romance

that defies social barriers and restores hope to her life.

Much Ado About Falstaff
Saturday November 29th
at 7.30pm

Screenshot 2025-09-14 at 13.47_edited.jp

A riotous night of laughter and mischief with Shakespeare’s biggest rogue - Falstaff!

From the team behind ‘Old Herbaceous’, ‘Three Men in a Boat’ and ‘What’s Wrong with Benny Hill?’ comes an unmissable new comedy that brings one of Shakespeare’s most beloved scoundrels to life like never before!

Sir John Falstaff - a rogue, a philanderer and a glutton - takes centre stage in Simon Downing’s hilarious new play. Audiences will be swept into the raucous world of the Boar’s Head Inn, where Falstaff (played by the brilliant Giles Shenton) is down on his luck and up to his old tricks. With the sharp-tongued Mistress Quickly (Georgie Taylor) keeping him in check and creditors at the door, will he finally clean up his act? Marry for money? Or continue his merry mischief?

This is an evening packed with riotous laughter, quick-witted banter, and more Shakespearean insults than you can shake a tankard at! Audiences can expect a warm, joyous and unashamedly fun theatrical experience that will leave them grinning from ear to ear.

Parking Information

We understand parking at the hall can be challenging at times but please can we ask all visitors to the hall to consider how they are parking and not to park on the pavement each side of the hall as it becomes very difficult for our neighbours to exit and enter their drives safely.

We understand that parking is at a premium but as most events finish at the same time cars can be blocked in by one another, as everyone leaves together. This will greatly increase the number of cars able to park within the car park itself.  Out of school hours we are able to make use of the school carpark on the corner opposite for any overflow parking but please close the gates after your event has finished.
